注意事項：
　
1.ワールドポスターとは What is the World Poster?

発表者から聴衆への一歩通行の発表ではなく、数人のグループで議論を行いながら進める発表形式です。・参加者がそれぞれミニポスターを作成し、これを用いて発表を行います。​

The presentation format involves group discussions among several people.

Each participant will make a mini poster and give a presentation using it.

2.発表の流れ
4〜6人程度のグループを形成します。・ミニポスターを用いて、1人につき5分程度で発表を行い、その内容についてのディスカッションを行います。

Participants will form groups of approximately 4 to 6 people.

Each presenter will give a 5-minute presentation using mini posters, followed by a discussion of the content.

3. ミニポスター作成要項
サイズ：A4 1~2枚 ・形式：特に制限はありません。自由に作成してください。
※ESJ73rdのポスターセッションで使用予定・使用したポスターの流用は極力避けていただき、
ワールドポスター用のポスターを作成下さい。
内容：発表者ご自身の研究に関する内容であれば制限はありません。必ずしも結果を報告する必要はなく、研究のアイディアや計画のみの発表でも構いません。詳細に関しては次項目の作成例をご参照ください。
Size: 1-2 page of A4 size

Format: Free – please desighn your poster in any style you prefer.

* Please avoid reusing posters that will be or have been used for the ESJ 73rd poster session.

Please create a new poster specifically for the World Poster Session.

Content: Any topic related to your own research is acceptable. It is not necessary to present final result – posters focused on reseach ideas or plans are also welcome. For more details, please refer to the examples provided in the next section.
 
4. ミニポスター作成ガイドライン Mini-Poster Preparation Guidelines
ミニポスターの作成の考え方を研究の進捗状況ごとに紹介します。
以下の文章と事例集（PDF）を参照してください。
まずは発表したい研究の進捗状況を意識しましょう！研究には大まかに４つの進捗状況が考えられます

This document introduces the basic concept of preparing a mini-poster according to the progress stage of your research. Please refer to the text below as well as the accompanying collection of examples.

First, clearly identify the current stage of progress of the research you wish to present. Research progress can be broadly categorized into the following four stages.

（I）コンセプトまで完成（対象・文献・自分の問い）    
（II）問いと手法まで完成（問い・仮説・手法と計画・予想される結果）
（III）結果まで完成（問い・仮説・手法・出ている結果・展望）
（IV）研究完成（問い・仮説・手法・主な結果・考察）

(I) Concept development completed
(target organism/system, relevant literature, and your research question)

(II) Research question and methodology established
(research question, hypothesis, methods and research plan, expected results)

(III) Results obtained
(research question, hypothesis, methods, available results, and future perspectives)

(IV) Research completed
(research question, hypothesis, methods, main results, and discussion)

それぞれの進捗状況においてポスターの主要な内容は以下の通りになります。
とくに太線の内容を中心にポスターを作るようにしましょう！

For each stage, the main contents of the poster should be organized as described below.
In particular, please focus your poster on the items highlighted in bold.
（I）コンセプトまで
　対象：どんな生物・現象？どこで？いつ？
　文献：主要な先行文献は？
　自分の問い：先行文献に基づく自分の問い（解明したい謎・解決したい課題）は？

(I) Concept Development Stage

Study subject: What organism or phenomenon are you studying? Where and when is the study conducted?

Literature: What are the key previous studies relevant to your research?

Your research question: Based on previous literature, what is your research question (i.e., the mystery you aim to clarify  or the problem you seek to solve)?

（II）仮説と手法まで 
　 問い：解明したい謎・解決したい課題は？
　 仮説：検証する具体的な仮説は？
    手法と計画：仮説の検証に用いる予定の手法は？具体的な実施の計画は？
    予想される結果：どんな結果が予想される？想定される結果を視覚的に表した図があると尚よし！ 

(II) Hypothesis and Methodology Stage

Research question:
What is the mystery you want to clarify or the problem you aim to solve?

Hypothesis:
What specific hypothesis will you test?

Methods and research plan:
What methods will you use to test your hypothesis? What is your concrete research plan?

Expected results:
What kinds of results do you anticipate? Including a figure that visually illustrates the expected outcomes is  highly recommended.

 

（III）結果まで
     問い～仮説～手法：同上
     結果：現時点で出ている結果をまとめましょう！すべてのデータが出そろっている必要はありません。 
         図でわかりやすく視覚的な表現をするよう心がけてください。複数の結果がすでに出ている場合、
         仮説の検証と問いへの答えに中心的な役割を果たす結果の取捨選択をすることも大事です
    展望：現在取得中・解析中のデータがあれば言及してもよいかもしれません。
         また、今のところ得られているデータに基づいて言えそうなことがあれば書いてみましょう！
         研究の課題を挙げて議論を促すのもありです。

(III) Results Stage

Research question – hypothesis – methods:
Same as above.

Available results:
Summarize the results obtained so far. It is not necessary for all data to be fully collected at this stage. Please aim for  clear and visually accessible presentation using figures.
If multiple results are already available, it is important to carefully select those that play a central role in testing the  hypothesis and answering the research question.

Future perspectives:
You may mention data that are currently being collected or analyzed. In addition, consider describing what can be  inferred based on the results obtained so far. Raising remaining issues and encouraging discussion is also welcome.

（IV）研究完成（論文を書ける・すでに書き上げた状態） 
     問い～仮説～手法：同上
     主な結果：すべての結果を列挙するとたいていスペースが足りなくなります。
     “持って帰ってほしいワンポイント（take home message）”を意識して主要な結果を発表しましょう！        図でわかりやすく視覚的な表現をすることが大事です。仮説と考察に対応させることにも注意！
      考察：主要な結果が表すことを述べましょう！
      小さい（仮説の正否）～中くらい（問いへの答え）～大きい（背景となった謎・課題の解決への貢献）
      スケールで別々に考えるとポスターが作りやすくなります。

(IV) Completed Research Stage

(ready to write, or already written, as a manuscript)

Research question – hypothesis – methods:
Same as above.

Main results:
Listing all results often exceeds the available space. Please focus on the key findings with a clear take-home  message that you want the audience to remember. Clear and visually effective figures are essential.
Be sure to maintain consistency between the hypotheses and the discussion.

Discussion:
Explain what the main results indicate. It may be helpful to structure the discussion at multiple scales:
small (validation or rejection of hypotheses), medium (answers to the research question), and
large (contributions to resolving the broader background problem or knowledge gap).

ここまで研究の進捗段階によって内容を区分的に説明してきましたが、もちろんこの通りに分けてポスターを作る必要はありません。あくまで、“書き逃すと発表が分かりにくくなってしまうポイント”程度に考えてください。皆さんの独創性の発揮に運営一同期待しています！ 若手の集いには様々な分野から学部生～ポスドクまで幅広い参加者が集まります。運営の方でなるべく近縁の分野でグループ分けをするようにしますが、発表は必ず門外漢にも伝わるように作りましょう！

Although we have explained the content by dividing it according to research progress stages, you do not need to follow  this structure rigidly when preparing your poster. Please consider this guideline as a checklist of “key points that, if  omitted, may make your presentation difficult to understand.”
The organizing committee looks forward to seeing your creativity fully expressed.
 
現地で発表される方は、遅くとも推定発表時刻の10分前までに会場へお越しください。なお、多くのご発表を行うにあたり、当日の集会趣旨の説明や注意事項の事前説明、閉会挨拶にかかる時間は極力短縮する予定です。集会開始後、早々に発表を始めていただく予定ですので、特に発表順が早い方は会場に遅れないようご注意ください。

Our workshop brings together a diverse group of participants, ranging from undergraduate students to postdoctoral researchers across many research fields. While the organizers will attempt to group presentations by related disciplines, please ensure that your poster is accessible and understandable even to researchers outside your immediate field.
